Kim Campbell is a highly accomplished human resources professional with over twenty years of progressive experience delivering strategic HR and business solutions while serving in leadership roles with various companies. She is a decisive leader with extensive experience partnering with all levels of management to implement systemic, meaningful results.
Kim has held several HR Executive roles for small and large organizations in real estate development, property management, software, manufacturing, petroleum, and professional services. She has been responsible for all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, and total rewards. Kim has also worked closely with global leadership teams to create a dynamic culture of engagement, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Education, Certifications and Affiliations
Kim holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Coppin University. Kim is a Certified Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), where she learned to leverage a proven methodology to empower leaders to realize their vision, set goals, and overcome barriers to success.
Kim recently served as the College Relations Director for the Maryland State chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and sat on the Howard County Human Resources Society board for eight years. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Senior Professional, and a Certified Diversity Professional. Kim is a proud member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., a national business sorority whose mission is to unite qualified business and professional women who will encourage, inspire, nurture, and assist persons engaged in business vocations.
Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, reading, traveling, and mentoring young people. She also serves as a leader in the faith community, where she has served for over 15 years as a leader for youth and women’s ministries.
